Elizabeth’s experience spans corporations, ad agencies, production companies and nonprofits. For more than 20 years, she has helped people connect with an organization’s vision and support it. As a communications generalist, her experience includes internal communication strategy and planning; leadership communication; speechwriting and writing for all media; creative and production for video and live events; and presentation coaching and communication training.
Corporate Experience
Elizabeth’s ability to focus on the big picture, the details and the bottom line are grounded in her experience as director of internal communication for Circuit City Stores, Inc. For more than a decade, she led multi-channel communication strategies for the national retailer that launched new businesses and brands, re-engaged employees and introduced changes ranging from new benefit plans to bankruptcy and liquidation.
Prior to Circuit City, Elizabeth worked as a video producer, both independently and with production companies. Elizabeth produced award-winning work for retailers, banks, utilities, non-profits, healthcare providers and universities.
Community Involvement
Most recently, working as a consultant, Elizabeth balances her corporate work with nonprofit communications support. Her generalist skills enable her to quickly learn about organizations and their opportunities, and provide a wide range of services, from writing case statements to producing videos to developing and executing marketing and communications plans. Her clients are wide ranging, and include healthcare providers, schools, human services agencies and providers of legal services and financial services.
