  • Partnered with incoming President and CEO of public company to announce his appointment and align communication approach, messages and timing with his global leadership team. Targeted audiences included: employees, customers, suppliers, as well as investors and media. Also worked with President and CEO to prepare for earnings release and analyst call.
  • Provided coverage for business unit communication manager on interim assignment to another business unit. Projects included supporting and providing communication counsel to several high-level functional transformation project teams.
  • Served as advisor to pharmaceutical executive responsible for operational effectiveness, knowledge management and communication across a global manufacturing network. Responsibilities included collaborating on strategy development, conducting in-depth listening sessions with front-line supervisors and recommending and executing communication strategies.
  • Conducted comprehensive listening exercise across a widely dispersed, multi-business organization in the telecommunications and publishing industry resulting in communication recommendations for all key business units as well as corporate.
  • Provided tactical communication support to senior-level project team responsible for outsourcing multiple processes of an energy company's back-office finance organization.
  • Created a leadership communication course for a $13 billion global diversified industrial company that was integrated with the organization’s leadership assessment, performance management and objective-setting processes as well as its leadership curriculum.
  • Collaborated with CEO and Chief Legal Officer to announce strategic acquisition and position the transaction as an indicator of a return to financial health and intention for short- and long-term growth.

  • Created adaptable toolkit to solicit feedback from over 500 employees in two weeks, and participated on core team to synthesize inputs and develop new Mission, Vision and Values (MVV) to mark recently merged company’s one year anniversary. Supported rollout of new MVV across 6,500 employees in more than 50 sites based on culture and philosophy of employee involvement.

  • Executed a communication and engagement strategy over 18 months for a leading food services provider with 3,000 employees in 89 locations throughout North America. 

  • Conducted a comprehensive listening exercise and developing communication strategy to engage approximately 4,000 customer-facing field employees.

  • Supported global pharmaceuticals company's efforts to create a learning culture by engaging leaders and employees in learning and development tools, processes and practices.

  • Worked with CEO to create a comprehensive internal/external communication plan for acquisition of primary global competitor. Provided coaching and advisory services to CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Served as PMO member and communication team leader for the multi-phase integration of two businesses in US and Canada over seven months.
  • Led all internal and external communication efforts for a leading manufacturer of bath & kitchen products for three years, including: acquisition of business, merger announcement and integration, production moves and plant closures, labor negotiations, product recall and ongoing media relations. Served as coach and advisor to CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Created a turn-key change communication toolkit for a nearly 100-year old consumer products company to support a transformation initiative moving through its network of manufacturing plants.
  • Conducted employee communication audit of $14.2 billion multi-industry company with 37,000 employees in 29 countries, with feedback and recommendations delivered to the CEO and senior leadership team.
  • Conducted comprehensive communication audit for premier online provider of consumer-direct travel services, with feedback, recommendations and coaching delivered to the CEO and senior leadership team. Proceeded to develop an engagement strategy to connect employees across the U.S. with the organization’s new brand positioning, and to enable them to deliver the promised customer experience.
  • Developed and executed communication strategy for the announcement of a new CEO and a subsequent reorganization of the largest automotive aftermarket retail and service chain in the U.S.
  • Built a marketing strategy and deliverables to re-launch a quickly-growing consulting firm offering analytics and employee survey tools and processes.
