Sharon is an accomplished professional with more than 20 years experience in corporate, executive and organizational communication. Her key strength is her ability to lead, manage and influence effective communications across complex, global organizations. Sharon is known for developing and delivering strategic messages and programs that drive business results. She has broad-based editorial expertise ranging from speechwriting for the CEO to creating online messaging to developing executive profiles.
Corporate Experience
Prior to her current work as a communications consultant, Sharon was responsible for internal communications and philanthropy at Wyeth (now Pfizer), the company where she built her career. Among her most significant accomplishments, she established a robust corporate internal communications function and provided communication counsel and leadership for C-level executives, working directly with three CEOs. Sharon played pivotal roles in key change initiatives including the introduction of Company values, the culture and name change from American Home Products to Wyeth, and two transformational, global programs to help reshape the company to succeed in the changing marketplace. Sharon also managed Wyeth’s community relations and corporate contributions programs with a focus on developing the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.
Industry and Community Involvement
Sharon is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Council of Communications Management. She is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Morris County and has, in the past, chaired the United Way’s Women’s Leadership Initiative.
